1. Scope and Applicability
These Terms of Sale govern every purchase of products from Volta Peptides (“Seller”). By placing an order, the purchaser (“Buyer”) accepts these terms in full. These terms supplement and do not replace the site-wide Terms & Conditions.
2. Research Use Only
All products sold by Volta Peptides are intended exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research conducted by qualified professionals. Products are not drugs, are not approved for human or veterinary use, and must not be used for:
- Human or animal administration, consumption, or injection
- Diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical purposes
- Food, cosmetic, or household applications
- Any application inconsistent with in-vitro research use only (RUO)
Buyer assumes full responsibility for ensuring that all products are handled, stored, and used in compliance with applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations in Buyer’s jurisdiction.
3. Purchaser Representations and Warranties
By completing a purchase, Buyer represents and warrants that:
- Buyer is affiliated with or employed by a research institution, laboratory, pharmaceutical company, biotechnology firm, contract research organization, or other qualified research entity — or is an independent researcher with appropriate qualifications.
- Buyer will not resell, redistribute, or otherwise transfer products for purposes of human or animal consumption.
- Buyer will maintain proper documentation and handling procedures consistent with laboratory best practices.
- The individual placing the order is at least 18 years of age and has the legal authority to bind the purchasing organization to these terms.
4. Product Purity and Documentation
All peptide products are manufactured to research-grade standards. Unless otherwise stated on the product listing:
- Purity is ≥98% as determined by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
- Identity is confirmed via mass spectrometry (MS) or equivalent analytical methods.
- Each batch ships with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) documenting purity, identity, and lot number.
COAs are available for download on product pages and upon request. Volta Peptides reserves the right to use qualified third-party laboratories for analytical testing.
5. Orders, Pricing, and Payment
All prices are listed in US Dollars unless otherwise indicated by the currency selector. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Volta Peptides reserves the right to cancel, refuse, or limit any order at its sole discretion, including orders that appear to violate these Terms of Sale.
Payment is accepted via credit/debit card (processed through Stripe) and select cryptocurrencies. All transactions are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment partners. Volta Peptides does not store credit card information.
6. Shipping and Handling
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Shipping timelines depend on destination and selected service level. Temperature-sensitive products are shipped with appropriate cold-chain packaging to maintain stability during transit.
Risk of loss and title for all products pass to Buyer upon delivery to the carrier. Volta Peptides is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or force majeure events.
7. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy. Due to the nature of research materials, returns are accepted only for products that arrive damaged, are incorrect, or fail to meet stated purity specifications. Buyer must notify Volta Peptides within 7 days of delivery. Products that have been opened, reconstituted, or otherwise used are not eligible for return.
8. Limitation of Liability
Products are provided “as is” for research purposes. Volta Peptides makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or suitability for any specific research application.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Volta Peptides shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, use, or inability to use any product, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or interruption of research. Total aggregate liability shall not exceed the purchase price paid by Buyer for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
9. Indemnification
Buyer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Volta Peptides, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from Buyer’s use or misuse of products, breach of these Terms of Sale, or violation of any applicable law or regulation.
10. Export Compliance
Buyer is responsible for compliance with all applicable export control laws and regulations. Buyer shall not export or re-export any product to any country, entity, or person prohibited by applicable law without obtaining all required governmental authorizations.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Sale shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
12. Modifications
Volta Peptides reserves the right to update these Terms of Sale at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to this page. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision. Continued purchases after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
